Service Tomorrow

Tomorrow morning at 8:00 we will be hosting an Ash Wednesday service at Sutton Place.

Those who are interested in giving to the poor as a
part of this service may bring a non-perishable food
item (canned, etc.), or the equivalent monetary
amount, which we will donate to Restoration Urban
Ministries.

Ash Wednesday is the traditional beginning of Lent -
the 40 days (plus Sundays) before Easter. In Lent, we
journey with Jesus to the Cross. Therefore, it is a
time of reflection and repentance, of sacrifice and
service.
